We are pleased to announce that the HarWASTing Project held its Kick-off Meeting from 17th to 19th of September, in Valencia, Spain.
The Project Coordinator, AIDIMME – Instituto Tecnológico, hosted the event, and all the Partners aligned on the project’s main goal: to implement circular economy and bioeconomy in rural areas, by exploiting underutilized biomass from forestry and agriculture.
The event included a visit to Ingelia’s facilities, in which we understand better the transformation of waste into high-value products, through hydrothermal carbonization, one of HarWASTing’s focus transforming scalable and replicable technological solutions, along with Pressurized Hot Water Extraction.
The participants also had the chance to visit AIDIMME’s laboratories, understanding a bit better how the transformation and quality assurance of the high-value produced materials will be conducted.
