The HarWASTing project brought together a consortium of 16 partners with complementary expertise spanning agroforestry, biomass valorization, digital innovation, sustainability assessment, and stakeholder engagement. This diverse collaboration includes academic institutions, research centers, SMEs, industry actors, and innovation-driven organizations, each contributing unique skills and perspectives.
By leveraging their combined strengths, the consortium successfully addressed the project’s multidisciplinary goals—from technological development and pilot implementation to market analysis, communication, and exploitation—ensuring impactful and sustainable outcomes across Europe.

AIDIMME is a non-profit Technological Institute related to metalworking, furniture, wood and packaging sectors. Its i purpose is to contribute to increasing the competitiveness of companies, fundamentally in the field of product design and development, innovative materials, advanced and sustainable supply, manufacturing, logistics, distribution and service processes.
The Institute of Chemical Technology (ITQ) is a joint research center established by the Higher Scientific Research Council (CSIC) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and it is recognized globally as a leading center of excellence in the field of catalysis and materials, equipped with many advanced technical and laboratory resources.
VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland is a leading European state-owned, non-profit research and innovation partner that advances the commercialization of technology and research to create sustainable growth. VTT collaborates with both domestic and international companies and public sector organizations to develop systemic and technological solutions for global challenges.
The DTU section for Quantitative Sustainability Assessment (QSA) focuses on research in the field of quantitative sustainability assessment and develops, adapts and applies quantitative methods for the Life Cycle Assessment of products, technologies and large-scale systems.

It acts as a platform for coordination between administrations, local entities, and social agents, channeling funding and innovative projects that contribute to the conservation of forest heritage and the well-being of rural communities.
LAG Turia Calderona is a Local Action Group that works to improve and develop rural areas in the inlands of the province of Valencia. Our ambit are five areas of the province called comarcas: Rincón de Ademuz, La Serranía, Camp de Turia, Camp de Morvedre and the municipality of Emperador.
